There may be earthquakes in other parts of the world, there are wars but it all means nothing when your toast isn't cut into small squares. How can you eat your egg on toast when it isn't cut in small squares?? Not big squares SMALL SQUARES! It's all about perspective people and the 4 year old perspective is very unforgiving. Get with the program.

Some more entertaining conversations:

Kate has a nose bleed, Daddy is trying to make it stop:

D: Kate you need to stop crying so your nose will stop bleeding
K: But I'm a kid, I am supposed to cry!

We're outside chatting in the sun:

K: When I grow up and get married I will have a baby in my belly.
M: That's nice Kate
K: I won't eat anything
M: Why? You'll get too hungry
K: Well when the baby comes out they will have to wash it.
M: Why?
K: Because it will be covered in food.

Not much to report, just lots of photos to share. Kate and Aiden continue to be excellent and I really mean excellent. I am knocking on wood everywhere I go just in case this time ends. They just keep getting easier and easier. Surely the definition of parental heaven is having 2 children who have a bath completely independently and this includes undressing, getting in, washing, getting out, drying and getting into pyjamas all while we lay back drinking, relaxing and cheering them on.

Whose idea was it to get rabbits? They cost us $150 in desexing fees, they seem to be getting more wild by the minute, we have to wear thick gardening gloves to pick them up and put them into the playpen for their run around, the kids couldn't care less if they had a rabbit or not. My solution is to leave them permanently in the play pen and just move it around the grass. Just hope nothing eats them during the night, we have $150 invested in this adventure. Could be a very expensive stir-fry.

I voluntarily spent the morning at Kindy last week (and here are the photos to prove it). It was a great experience and further highlighted how important it is for Kate and Aiden. Having said that I probably won't do it again, girl needs her freedom!
